Thanksgiving in California

Since the kids had an entire week of school vacation for Thanksgiving, we headed to California for an action-packed week. We stayed with Tia Ludy and Aunt Susan and Michael's parents came from Austin too. We spent two days at Disneyland/California Adventure, a partial day at Downtown Disney, relaxed in LA for some turkey (and some monopoly playing), and spent one day at the LA Zoo. Tyler said his favorite part of the entire trip was playing monopoly. Ludy has Star Wars monopoly and it was the first time Tyler had ever played monopoly. Now he has been asking to play every day. Michael even downloaded the monopoly app on his tablet and the two of them played the entire flight back to Austin. Daphne said she loved everything! I have lots of photos to sort through and post. Here are a few shots of the kids on our first day in LA.

Christmas tree in the Grove; If you're ever at the Grove,
the truffle burger at Umami is amazing!!!!

The tree was too big to fit in one photo! While
we were there the Grove was setting up a stage
for an outdoor taping of Dancing with the Stars.
