Tyler has a field trip coming up and he just brought home the permission slip. He told me that he would like me to be one of the chaperones:
Me: It's a day I normally work so I will have to see if I can re-arrange my schedule.
Tyler (very matter-of-fact): Just tell your boss you can't make it that day.
