We survived our first family camping trip! It was only for one night last and it was with Tyler's cub scout pack, who brought cooking supplies and food for dinner and breakfast, so that made it that much easier and more fun. We stayed at Canyon of the Eagles on the north side of Lake Buchanan and lucked out with some cooler weather. If you had asked Tyler before we went camping if he was excited he would have told you that he was afraid of the dark and snakes. But he had so much fun with all his friends, especially since they played soccer for an eternity at our campsite, that he forgot all his worries. The only thing he didn't like about the trip was that he got burrs stuck to him a few times and one or two burrs drew a little blood. Daphne had fun too and enjoyed playing with a few of the other little sisters.

We headed to the camp out straight from soccer. Tyler said it was crazy how full our SUV was! |

How many Aggies does it take to set up a tent? 4 + 1 Okie. We did pretty well setting up Janina's old tent considering there were no instructions in the bag or anywhere online. |
