The Cinco Ranch neighborhood in Katy where my dad and Mary just bought a house has a lot of really nice swimming pools. They live near "The Waterpark" pool and it had something for everyone- a splash pad, slides, diving boards, and a large pool with a little waterfall and cave underneath. To do the slides or diving boards you have to swim to the side with no flotation device and no help from adults. Tyler and Noah can both swim and after starting with the slides, they finally made their diving board debut and loved it. I had only seen Daphne swim a few feet underwater before the trip to this pool. She was so determined to slide and do the diving board that she was able to do both and did a combination underwater swim with occasional breaths and dog paddle to get to the side. It was nervewracking (even with a lifeguard watching on) and impressive all at the same time.
