Camp PawPaw- Day 5

Micah loves playing with Tyler and Daphne's
magnetic games in the back of our SUV
On the last day of Camp PawPaw we had an afternoon of water fun in the backyard- slip and slide, water guns, and water balloons. It is pretty amazing how fast the kids burn through a 350-pack of water balloons.

Tyler and Noah were most excited about the water guns
and the water balloon fight.

Snow Cones! Damon skipped the water fun
and watched from the safety of the patio.

Daphne and Micah loved the slip and slide

Love that chicken from Popeye's!
Camp PawPaw finished up with a night at a minor league baseball game. We saw the Sugar Land Skeeters take on and lose to the Long Island Ducks.

Kids got in free if they were wearing a team uniform. Tyler
and Daphne borrowed shirts from their cousins since their
team uniforms were in Austin.

We sat on the grass in the outfield.

The kids played a lot of tag.

Noah rolled down the hill.

There were numerous play structures, a carousel, and a splash
pad in the outfield and with a view of the field.

All of the kids loved climbing on the rock walls
and on the rope walls.

Micah had me spin him again and again.

Daphne was the only one who wanted to do the splash pad.

Daphne and Damon were excited to meet
Skeeter. Micah got close but shied away
from a Skeeter high five and hug.

The week ended with a bang, literally,
with a fireworks show.

Camp PawPaw- Day 4

While the big kids were at VBS in the morning, Micah rode in the bicycle trailer on a ride with Bryce and PawPaw. He really enjoyed it in the beginning but was bored by the end. The next day PawPaw and I gave him the option to ride in the trailer with us, pull weeds with Mary, or take a nap. He chose to take a nap, which was probably a good thing because he slept for 3-1/2 hours!

Ready to roll

Crossing one of the bridges on the bayou trail

About to turn 4 soon
In the afternoon we took the kids to Monkey Joe's, which has a ton of inflatable slides, obstacle courses, bouncy houses, etc.

Elin joined us at Monkey Joe's

Elin convinced PawPaw to put her on the pony

Pretzel break

The kids loved the obstacle course. Micah was too
short to reach the opening and needed a boost.

Daphne the T-Rex

Jenga

Dance Party- Tyler and Noah got down to 'My Shot' and
'Turn Down for What' and then they were too cool to
dance to Daphne's pick. Noah likes to spin on his butt.

Camp PawPaw- Day 3

One of the pools in my dad and Mary's new neighborhood has some decent sized water slides. Tyler, Noah, Daphne, and Micah loved the slides! Damon wanted nothing to do with them and Elin was too little. I went down the slides a few times in a race with Daphne and felt old because the enclosed slide felt a little claustrophobic! We also played quite a few games of Monkey in the Middle in the pool and the kids really liked that.

Noah and Tyler take a summer reading break
(because we made them!)

The big kids wore Micah out!

This pool was too deep for the little ones to reach

Micah liked the ninja kickboard

The water slides!

Tyler makes a splash!

Noah and Tyler claimed the red slide was faster

Daphne wanted lots of photos on the slides

Micah was like a little roadrunner- since you can't run at the
pool, he would speed walk from the bottom of the slide back
to the stairs so he could climb up and go again.

Damon was happy chilling in the pool

Tyler and Noah only visited the splash pad
when the pool had to be cleared for the
lifeguard's breaks

Elin loves the pool too!
