Santa Fe

We spent three days in Santa Fe, which is so beautiful set within the surrounding mountains. The sunsets in particular were incredible. Our first day in town we got the lay of the land.

Taking a walk on the trail around Sylvia's neighborhood

There was art everywhere, even in the neighborhood park.
I loved that many of the roundabouts had art work in the center.

We saw a family of owls in the park. Someone pointed
out a nest where there was a baby owl that we couldn't
see and there were parent owls keeping watch.

Sylvia's house; The majority of houses and buildings around
Santa Fe are adobe and they really blend in with the
surrounding landscape. Dried chile pepper bunches also
seemed to be a porch staple.

The closest outdoor mini golf course appeared
to be in Albuquerque so we braved the glow
in the dark course in the mall.
