Pedernales Falls State Park

We spent a day at Pedernales State Park, which was a major win because all the kids enjoyed it as well as the adults. The kids really liked climbing on all the many rocks and searching for cool things like caves. It was cooler in the morning but it warmed up enough in the afternoon to put our feet in the river.

Noah, Tyler, Hazel, Damon, and Daphne

Hazel and Micah, who tucked his puppy stuffed animal in jacket

Megan, Hazel, Brad, and Penny

Exploring a cave

Daphne loved this little cave. She would have
hung out there all day if we let her.

Noah popped out first. The kids all took turns crawling
through this opening in the rocks.

Michael hiked over to this outcropping with Tyler, Noah, and
Damon, who really wanted to go explore the cave opening.

PawPaw (the red speck) hiked along too but
hung back and didn't go up the steep part.
