Ninja Elf

Tyler was supposed to be helping me wrap presents but instead got distracted by the red gizmos I use to contain my wrapping paper rolls. They are similar to snap bracelets and he found that inspiring.

School Parties

The kids recently had their holiday parties at school. The kindergarteners made lots of crafts and Rudolph cupcakes they could eat. The third graders played games.

Saran Wrap Game- Tons of treats were wrapped up in a giant
ball of saran wrap. Each kid got a chance to unwrap the ball
and get treats until the kid next to them rolled a 5. Vegas for kids!

Our neighbors have a lot of fun stuff in their front yard that the kids enjoy playing on: ninja line, swurfer, and tree house. And they just added a zip line in the backyard that the kids are wild about.

Cleaning the Closet?

We were all supposed to be straightening up the house. When I went to check on Daphne's progress in her room, I found her in her closet (no light on) reading a book underneath her clothes rack. I was frustrated she wasn't cleaning but excited she loves to read so much.

Target has this fun photo booth set up in their Christmas section where the entire background is upside down so that if you rotate your photo it looks like you are coming down the chimney.

Soccer Party

To celebrate an undefeated 8-0 season for Team Mexico, Coach Shawn held a soccer party last weekend. We played parents versus kids (players and siblings), had pizza, and Shawn awarded each player a trophy. The soccer league always hands out a participation medal at the end of the season but Shawn wanted the boys to know they earned a trophy through hard work.

Treeskirt is Back!

December 4: Treeskirt came back from the North Pole to
keep watch on the kids and let Santa know if they are
naughty or nice.

December 5: We had a lice scare but it turned out that Daphne
just had dirt in her hair. Treeskirt played it safe.

December 6: Nerf dart gun target practice

Even Treeskirt's mom makes him wear safety goggles
when playing with Nerf dart guns

Treeskirt even got a bullseye

December 7: Treeskirt was a little naughty! He took the fake
present that Daphne wrapped at school at the wrapping station
and he cut it in half.

December 8: Uh oh! Sledding accident...

Treeskirt broke the sled and had to ice his head and his knee.

December 9: Treeskirt blended in with
the stockings really well.
