Boys vs. Girls

Tyler is starting to differentiate between genders in some areas. This morning he had been dancing to a bunch of songs and he stopped dancing when a song sung by a female band came on. He told me, "I like boy songs! I don't like girl songs!" and wanted me to find him another song. Then about 10 minutes later as he hung out in the bathroom while I was getting ready for the day, Tyler wanted to put on some lipstick. I figured why not. Michael is mortified, especially since I have photographic evidence!

Later today,
Tyler: "Daddy and Tyler are boys."
Me: "What are Mommy and Daphne?"
Tyler: "Princesses." (followed by a big grin)
