McKinney Falls

We headed to McKinney Falls State Park today with Bryce and the nephews to hike, explore, and picnic.

Turkey Creek

We did a nice hike today on the Turkey Creek trail. Daphne was in her element and enthusiastically led the way a good portion of the hike. In more urban settings we usually hear about how tired her legs are!

Sleepover

Hazel and Penny spent the night on Saturday night so that Brad and Megan could have a date night. There was lots of giggling!

Tyler the Gamer

 

This is Tyler in his natural habitat: playing Xbox on the spinning chair of comfy-ness, wearing PJ bottoms and no shirt but wrapped in blankets, and yesterday wearing his taco hat f(rom his recent soccer tournament) for no known reason

Rick Astley for President

Recently Tyler told me that instead of Biden or Trump, we should all vote Rick Astley for president because he is:

I am not sure why, but Tyler and his friends love Rickrolling and in this case it's pretty funny.

Creek Clean Up

 Yesterday Daphne and I got together with the Girl Scouts to clean up trash in Williamson Creek. Girls from our troop covered a section of the creek and older girls took a different section. Our girls did a good job and tired out after about an hour. It is amazing how much trash we found in the dry creek bed. We mostly found bits and pieces of plastic wrappers but also found larger items such as an old bike tire, an old political sign, a shoe, etc. We even found an old mattress!
