This morning at breakfast-
Tyler: I wish I could vote.
Me: Who would you vote for?
Tyler: Bernie Sanders.
That's our boy!!!!

Recess Friend

A few weeks ago Daphne told me that she had a new friend Amy at school. Amy is in a different Pre-K class but her class has the same recess time as Daphne's class. I asked Daphne what her and Amy like to do at recess. Daphne replied matter-of-factly, "Whatever I say."

Soccer

Soccer season is in full swing. Daphne's games are fairly chaotic, which is expected at her age, while Tyler's games are really getting good. The boys are actually making strategic plays and passing really well to one another. This is their last season before they start using referees and following more rigid rules.

Daphne is fairly dramatic and takes many dives throughout her games. Her favorite play is to kick the ball out of bounds. Today just before halftime Daphne tackled an opponent to the ground. Michael called her over for a chat and told her that she can't tackle people. Daphne said, "I didn't tackle her. I just took her down."
