Hamilton

We saw Hamilton last night while it was touring in Austin and it was AMAZING! Not only did the adults enjoy it, but we also brought Tyler and he loved it. We already knew that Tyler liked the music. This is the only musical/production Tyler has ever wanted to see. Lin Manuel Miranda is a genius- who else can get a 10-year old excited to watch a 3-hour musical about America's founding fathers?

Daphne's friend Marcela had an amazing unicorn-themed pool party, complete with giant unicorn pool float, tons of unicorn-themed food, unicorn t-shirts, and of course a unicorn pinata.

Greenbelt

We celebrated my birthday with a hike and wade/dip in the Greenbelt. Tyler joined us later for dinner and an evening outdoor concert at Hill Country Galleria.

The kids like Crate & Barrel. Who knew?

The kids were grumbling about having to run errands today. Then we went in Crate & Barrel and they perked up. Apparently they really like that store and had a blast testing out all the furniture. They even talked us into buying what Tyler has been calling the spinning chair of comfyness for the playroom. But it won't be delivered for 7 - 9 weeks. Tyler even said, "Can I use language? Damn! I like this store."

SH 45 Southwest Jubilee

Yesterday, we went to the SH 45 Southwest Jubilee with Brad, Megan, and the girls. Before the grand opening of the toll road next week, CTRMA held a jubilee celebration on the tollway on the bridge section. They had free food and lots of fun games. There is a nice new hike and bike trail along the tollway so we all rode our bicycles from Brad's house to the jubilee.
