The news

Conversation with Daphne at lunchtime as I switched the TV from cartoons to the news.

• Me: I'm going to turn on the news.
• Daphne: Why?
• Me: Don't you want to know what's going on in the world?
• Daphne: I already know- people are dying from coronavirus.

Family Bike Rides

Now that Daphne is riding her bike we have been trying to take more family bike rides. We have a nice variety of paved and unpaved trails near our house. Daphne is still a little wobbly when she gets started and prefers the wider trails but she is doing really well. We just take it slow and make sure others on the trail have plenty of room to pass.

Jackbox

We continue to be hooked on Jackbox. We found a new game called Role Models that is fun. You have to sort all the players based on who best fits the options they give you, such as classic superheroes: Luke Skywalker, Sarah Conner, Indiana Jones, or John Shaft. You get points if you all agree on how to classify people. At the end the game tells you the personality traits for each person.

What's Sanity? = Tyler; The kids like to change up their
names. Tiny doesn't apply but definitely mysterious,
but then again that describes all tweens!

J.I.L.D. (BD) = John/Isabelle/Leafy/Daphne (Banana Daphne);
Tyler disputes mega-warrior, but she's definitely cute and ethical

Michael's description was nowhere close since he is very loyal.
His was skewed because we had to sort ourselves by the
Simpsons' characters and we naturally assigned him Homer
since he is the Dad of the family.

Everyone laughed and thought my description was spot on.
They were mostly laughing at "wannabe badass".

Still Bananas!

Yep! Daphne is still bananas for bananas. In addition to Leafy, the new year ushered in the arrival of Isabelle and John. They are cousins or related somehow. Daphne's best friend Penny has a banana named Sleepy that is John's near-identical twin.
