Vegetarian?

Recently the term vegetarian came up in conversation. Daphne said, "I'm practically a vegetarian." I laughed and replied, "You have to eat veggies to be a vegetarian!"

Bartholomew Pool

The kids and I have been trying out different pools. The Bartholomew Pool in NE Austin was built a few years ago and is very nice. They had 2 long tube slides for those 48" and older, a toddler slide, a diving board, an "obstacle course" (walk on fake logs and lily pads while holding an overhead rope), lots of pool space, and a few shade sails.

Luke and Tyler did the diving board but there was also a deep
enough section where they could both jump in at the same time.

Rock n River

On Friday I took the kids to Rock n River Water Park in Round Rock. Tyler brought his buddy Luke, which worked out well because they are tall enough to do everything and Daphne is still too short for some of the slides. The kids had a blast and weren't ready to leave until they closed the park down for the day.

July 4th

On July 4th we headed over to Bee Cave to watch the fireworks at Hill Country Galleria.

We celebrated Micah's 4th birthday while we were in Katy. We spent the afternoon at the pool, had a water gun fight, opened presents, and had cake.
